CYAN Station Architecture

Cyan Station was founded in 2020 on the premise that we need to shift the way we approach designing, building and inhabiting homes towards social change. Cyan works on residential, commercial and community projects with private and non-profit clients who share the goals of ecological and human resilience. Cyan is a small and growing team, located in the vibrant and diverse neighbourhood of Parkdale.

Cyan was started by Car Martin, a licensed architect who brings a background in working with environmental and cultural non-profits and who has collaborated widely at every scale, from neighbourhood participatory planning to small-scale installations. At the core of their work is an interest in experimentation and questioning assumptions, while always keeping in mind the core goals of social impact and the practical realities of design and construction.
